The board adopted Resolution 3-2025 authorizing a $300,000 transfer from Capital Outlay (Fund 21) to the General Fund (Fund 10) and Resolution 4-2025 authorizing $20,000 from Impact Aid (Fund 27) to the Food Service Fund (Fund 51). Both motions were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote after brief discussion about available capital-transfer capacity.
Trustees noted the district previously transferred an amount from Impact Aid and still has budgeted capital transfer capacity (roughly $500,000 remaining in the capital-outlay plan). The food-service transfer was described as a budgeted action to address low balances and ongoing changes to federal COVID-era revenue sources; one trustee noted the district had not needed such transfers for several years and the action is a normal budgetary step during audits and program transitions.
