Sonnet Fest set for Aug. 7–9 along Downtown Greenway, city says

Creative Greensboro and partners will present the 2nd annual Sonnet Fest Aug. 7–9 with free performances of Shakespeare's sonnets along the Downtown Greenway; performances will accept donations.
Presenter Rosemary announced that Creative Greensboro, in partnership with Little Independent Theater, Scrap Metal Shared Radiance Performing Arts and Greensboro Parks and Recreation, will present the 2nd annual Sonnet Fest with performances of Shakespeare's sonnets 51 through 103 along the Western Branch section of the Downtown Greenway starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 7 and continuing through Aug. 9.
The broadcast stated that all performances are free and will accept donations, and directed listeners to the Creative Greensboro page on the city website for registration and more information.
