Board approves negotiated agreements, many hires and contract offers
Summary

The board adopted the certified personnel negotiated agreement and the classified personnel negotiated agreement for the 2025–26 school year after discussion that many changes were clarifications for accreditation and practice. Chair announced the certified agreement motion and the board carried the motion by voice vote.
After executive session the board accepted multiple resignations effective at the end of the 2024–25 school year and authorized the business manager to offer contracts and letters of intent to a long roster of certified and classified staff, plus extra-duty/co‑curricular positions. The board also authorized administrative contracts for Dan Baldwin (Superintendent), Kate Gabriel (Business Manager), Kurt Latas (6–12 Principal), Ben Conant (Student Affairs), Derek Myers (Director of Maintenance), Sarah Sterling (Director of Technology), and Desiree Lutke (special-education director/teacher). Motions on the personnel slate were carried by voice votes.
