The Lamoille FiberNet Governing Board elected Andrew Ross as chair, Jeff Tilton as vice chair, Tasha Wallis as clerk and Colette Jurnak as treasurer during its June 24 meeting. "With a big thank you to all," Jane Campbell moved the slate, and Stephen Friedman seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Board members said the new leadership will help guide the cooperative through a planned transition of administrative duties to the Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) and other cost‑reduction steps as grant funding winds down in coming years. The board also discussed practical steps for members to migrate role-based email accounts and consolidate certain administrative functions under LCPC and shared services with neighboring CUDs.
The board set a next meeting date of Sept. 23, 2026 to follow up on sustainability actions and to monitor grant closeouts and transition tasks. The meeting record shows the board intends roles to be executed by the new chair for any items requiring signature.
