Eric Jensen of EJ Municipal presented proposed revisions to the Town of Lyman’s comprehensive plan at the Jan. 13 council meeting, recommending an expansion of the town’s Urban Growth Area to accommodate additional residential growth adjacent to the current boundary and a fuller discussion of transportation funding approaches after feedback from the Skagit Council of Governments.
Jensen proposed a workshop on Jan. 26, 2026, to finalize the revisions and review the draft Critical Areas Ordinance; Mayor Eddie Hills and the council agreed to attend. The minutes record no formal vote on the plan itself at this meeting; the workshop is intended as the next procedural step toward adopting the draft later in 2026.
