The Westford Selectboard voted unanimously on April 7 to enter an executive session, saying public disclosure of personnel and legal matters could harm the town. Pat Haller called the meeting to order at 9:33 AM and said that "premature public knowledge of matters pertaining to personnel and legal would put the town at significant risk." Julia Andrews seconded the finding and the motion passed 4-0.
Pat Haller moved that the board enter executive session and invited Town Treasurer Greg Barrows and Town Administrator Tommy O’Connor to join; Nick Nichols seconded that motion and the board again voted 4-0 to proceed. The board exited executive session at 9:57 AM; no additional details from the executive session were made public during the meeting.
