The Selectboard reviewed the road schedule and the FY2026 highway and general fund budget status reports in the treasurer’s absence. Road foreman S. Cushing was not present; Tommy O’Connor presented the reports on the treasurer’s behalf and the board approved accounts payable and payroll warrants.
Selectboard member Deb Jorschick reported that paving on Vermont Route 128 completed last summer is already showing cracking along the middle seam and around culverts and noted the work did not survive the winter. The board did not make a specific remedial motion at the meeting but recorded the concern for follow-up with road staff and the contractor.
