Ryan Coffman, Republic Services municipal manager, told the commissioners on June 8 that he had solicited contractor estimates to repair damage at the county transfer station building.
Coffman, appearing by Zoom, said he had calls out to contractors to assess and quote the repair work. Commissioners and representatives from the city discussed the longer-term future of the transfer site and the solid‑waste amenities shared by the City of White Sulphur Springs and Meagher County.
No repair contract award or funding decision was recorded in the minutes; Coffman indicated further assessment was underway and that staff would return with cost information and contractor recommendations.
