Road & Bridge Superintendent Jim Meier opened sealed bids for a new fuel-dispensing system for the Road & Bridge facility. Two vendors submitted bids: Hoidale ($64,891.78) and Double Check ($68,140.00). Meier said Double Check’s submission noted the vendor’s annual software fee of about $2,000 was not included in the bid.
Commissioner Don Schroeder moved to accept the bids, direct staff to review them, and present a recommendation at a future meeting; Commissioner Becky Reimer seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Staff will evaluate the bids for equipment, warranty, software licensing, and total lifecycle costs before recommending award.
