The Harvey County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 24 approved the FY2027 grant applications and accompanying budgets submitted by Harvey/McPherson County Community Corrections. Director Sunny Milleson presented both the adult and juvenile KDOC comprehensive-plan submissions and the commission voted to approve the applications and authorize the chair to sign.
According to the materials presented to the board, the adult allocation for FY2027 is $957,244.81 and the juvenile allocation is $542,774.45; the materials note those figures are unaudited and subject to KDOC review. The motion to approve the applications was made by Commissioner Don Schroeder, seconded by Commissioner Becky Reimer, and passed unanimously. The application packet included program budgets, signatory approval forms and KDOC guidance documents for required deliverables and deadlines.
