Selectboard reviews FY'26 highway and general fund reports, approves warrants

Treasurer Greg Barrows presented both the FY'26 Highway and General Fund budget status reports during the Feb. 26 meeting and walked the board through current balances and projections. The board reviewed the road schedule and the highway report; Barrows also presented the general fund report later in the meeting.
After reviewing the financial reports, the Selectboard approved accounts payable and payroll warrants. Tommy O'Connor reported he had contacted Chittenden County to ask how the county clerk budget charges to Westford were calculated, and said the county budget was decreasing this year.
