During routine business the Selectboard approved Payables Warrant #W2644 and Payroll Warrant #W2643 dated April 30, 2026. The board asked for clarification on a payment to Kingsbury (Gig Zboray said it is for the sewer project) and then approved the warrants by motion.
The board also voted to accept the minutes of April 15, 2026 as written. Following the resignation of James Weber, the board appointed Craig Hammer to serve as Vice Chair until the next annual reorganizational meeting (motion by Scott M. Reed, seconded by Dennis Pike). The board scheduled a special meeting for Thursday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m., cancelled the May 13 regular meeting, noted that the Municipal Center will be closed May 4–5 for paving (staff available by email), and recorded that Gig Zboray will be on vacation May 10–22 but reachable by email or text.
The minutes also note that Hometown Hero banners will be installed Friday and the town will supply fuel for two donated bucket trucks used for the installation.
