Brad Lackey reported he ordered one fiberglass sign for Coleman Cemetery similar to those in Wilmington and that an 18-inch width appears adequate. Madeline Klein said she will coordinate with the town treasurer to order the remaining signs from Amazon at about $44 apiece with a goal to have them installed before Old Home Week.
The commission discussed mounting options: 1.5-inch steel posts would cost about $50 per post for Joe Saladino and crew to place, while fence posts may not be sturdy enough for long-term placement. Madeline will ask Stanley whether the town can place steel posts, and the commission will plan logistics for installation.
