On July 22 the Alabama Board of Pardons & Paroles approved paroles that included explicit reentry and supervision conditions. Shelton J. Holloway (AIS# 150440) and Christopher D. Andrews (AIS# 266064) were granted parole with the requirement to complete the Perry County Probation/Parole Reentry Education Program (PREP), wear GPS ankle monitors and complete drug and mental-health assessments upon release.
Minutes show the Board consistently specified similar conditions when granting parole for cases with concerns about supervision or treatment needs. These conditions are recorded in the Board's public minutes and will be enforced by probation/parole authorities on release.
