"They're gonna be changing the name to Eastern Iowa Disability Alliance," a visitor said, and board members discussed plans to find a single IT vendor to serve the region and to open bids next year for the fiscal-agent role. Supervisors pressed for clarity about local service coverage; one visitor said the local coordinator is in Jackson County "twice a month for 0.5 a day," and several speakers said that limited on-site time makes follow-up and continuity of care difficult. The visitors and supervisors also discussed confusion between DAP and ASO program roles and how funding allocations leave smaller, rural counties with less capacity. The visitors thanked county staff involved in grant work and said they will continue to pursue state-level remedies and local outreach.
