Selectboard approves payables and payroll warrants, accepts corrected minutes and OKs office screen purchase

The Selectboard approved several routine administrative items at its April 15 meeting. A motion by Skip Tefft to approve Payables Warrant #W2642 (dated April 16, 2026) passed with all in favor; Craig Hammer’s motion to approve Payroll Warrant #W2641 (dated April 16, 2026) also passed unanimously. Rick Gramlin moved to accept the April 1, 2026 minutes as corrected to show the grader warranty is 5,000 hours (not 5,000 miles); the motion carried.
The board agreed it will serve as the hiring committee for highway department hiring. Selectboard Administrator Gig Zboray raised a potential cybersecurity contract with VTCyber and reported VTCyber agreed to changes; the board authorized Gig to sign the updated contract. The board also approved a $1,196.97 estimate to install a 65" screen, movable stand, surge protection, wireless casting technology and training for the Selectboard office.
