Elkhorn board moves to closed session to discuss personnel and legal matters under Wisconsin law

At the end of its July 13 meeting the Elkhorn Area School District board voted to adjourn into closed session to discuss personnel and legal matters. The chair moved to adjourn to closed session “pursuant to Wisconsin state statute 19 dot 85, para 1, para c, and para g to provide an update on the support staff personnel matter and to discuss the legal matters.”
The motion was seconded and a roll call vote was conducted; each named member responded in the affirmative and the chair announced the board would not reconvene in open session. The meeting recessed for closed session at approximately 6:20 p.m.
