The Board of Supervisors reappointed Jeannie Collins-Heer as Jackson County Weed Commissioner for a one-year term expiring February 28, 2027. The motion to reappoint was made by Supervisor Mike Steines and seconded by Supervisor Nin Flagel and passed unanimously.
Following the reappointment, the Board approved Resolution #1167-02-17-2026, titled the 2026 Noxious Weed Control Resolution, as filed in Resolution Book 5, page 355. The resolution was approved by motion and a unanimous vote. The minutes do not include text of the resolution; the Auditor’s Office maintains the official resolution record for public inspection.
