Brooks County approves single bids for fuel and quarterly pest control, pays routine invoices

Brooks County Commissioners' Court unanimously approved single bids for county fuel and pest control during a special session on Aug. 29, 2024 in Falfurrias. County Judge Eric Ramos opened the lone bid for fuel from Oil Patch and told the court the price was the same as last year; Commissioners approved the award without objection.
The court also accepted a quarterly pest-control contract from South Texas Pest Control for $795.00. After routine discussion the court approved payment of two small vendor invoices on consent: $195.00 to Kings III for an elevator phone and, by addendum, $790.10 to Hart Intercivic from election expenses. Each motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
