A request to increase the JP #1 head clerk's salary to match JP #2 was discussed (initially described as $2,000 and later clarified to $2,625); Commissioner Rolando Gutierrez supported the increase, while Commissioner Cabrera raised concerns about fairness and overall budget impact. The court voted unanimously to table the salary decision pending further information.
