The Marshall County Commission of Veterans Affairs voted Feb. 3 to approve purchasing four outreach banners at $250 apiece to honor Ronnie Snyder and three members of SSGT Howard's family (James T. Roelsgard, W. Eugene Neville and Martin Roelsgard). "Edwards moved to approve the purchase of four banners at $250 each for the following veterans: Ronnie Snyder, and the three members of SSGT Howard’s family," the minutes record; Bob Grimes seconded the motion and it carried 3-0.
The meeting file notes that MCBD is sponsoring SSGT Howard's banner. The banners are being purchased from outreach monies; locations and installation logistics were discussed in the director's outreach materials for prior and upcoming events.
