Butler County awards $219,810 milling contract to Dustrol Inc. for 2026 road program

The board approved Dustrol Inc.’s bid of $219,810.03 on a 5-0 vote; planned work includes NW 30th Street, the truck route, and SW Butler Road from SW 240th Street to SW 190th Street.
Commissioners noted the county purchased an asphalt machine in 2025 and used it for leveling NW 30th Street; milling this year will prepare the surface for overlay and improve drainage. No contract start or completion dates were specified during the meeting.
