Beaux Arts names new Clerk/Treasurer in training and appoints Mayor Pro Tem

Amy Myhre began training Jan. 12 as the new Clerk/Treasurer and will take over at the end of January; Council also appointed Councilmember James McCarthy as Mayor Pro Tem by a 4–0 vote.
The council introduced newly hired Clerk/Treasurer Amy Myhre and noted she began training with Clerk/Treasurer Sue Ann Spens on Jan. 12 and will continue training through the end of January. Myhre’s new town email is Clerk@beauxarts-wa.gov.
The council also carried a motion to appoint Councilmember James McCarthy as Mayor Pro Tem. Councilmember Stacy Saal moved to appoint McCarthy and Councilmember Brad Wheeler seconded; the motion passed 4 For, 0 Against, 0 Abstain. No executive session was held before the appointment.
