Council continues Critical Areas Ordinance review; schedules December public hearing

Town Engineer Stacia Schroeder told the Council that the current draft of the Town’s proposed Critical Areas Ordinance is the same version reviewed previously and that of the state agencies contacted only the Department of Fish and Wildlife has submitted comments so far. Departments of Commerce, Ecology, and Natural Resources had not returned comments as of this meeting.
Councilmembers asked questions and suggested minor edits; Clerk/Treasurer Sue Ann Spens will arrange a public hearing at the December meeting so the Council may consider adopting an enacting ordinance then.
