The Beaux Arts Village Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 483 at its Nov. 11 meeting to set the 2026 property-tax levy at $198,779. Clerk/Treasurer Sue Ann Spens attributed the total to the statutory maximum the Council agreed to use; the levy includes $2,860 attributed to new construction and $4,607 drawn from banked capacity.
Councilmember Brad Wheeler moved to pass Ordinance No. 483 and Councilmember James McCarthy seconded; the motion carried 5–0. The ordinance implements the levy amount discussed during the public hearing, which had no public comment. The levy figure will be part of the final budget package the Council expects to adopt in December.
