Staging equipment removed; Marco Island property owner charged costs only

Code Enforcement Officer John Negra told the Special Magistrate that a contractor (Blue Marlin Marine) had been using a vacant lot at 635 Rockport Court to stage equipment, including a crane, without a permit on 06/04/2026. Negra presented photographs and a notice of violation documenting the offloading activity and workers on site.
The City reported that the crews left the lot the day of inspection. Magistrate Robert Print admitted the exhibits, found the violation proved, and ordered payment of $50 in costs; because the activity was removed promptly the magistrate did not impose additional per‑day fines.
