The Clinton/Jackson Early Childhood Iowa board voted to approve the minutes from the Jan. 26, 2026 meeting and accepted the director's January expenditure report during its Feb. 23 meeting. Board member Nin Flagel moved to approve the minutes (seconded by Sarah Hogan); the recorded votes on both approvals were All Ayes.
Director Mary Kay Wirth told the board there are currently 16 scholarships in place and that attendance continues to be monitored. She also said the board is preparing for a 2027 requirement that ASQ screenings will be required for preschool scholarships and discussed plans to train preschools to administer those screenings.
