John Hinz appointed chair as Board adopts amended rules for 2025

At the end of its Nov. 18 meeting the Jones County Board of Adjustment appointed John Hinz as chairperson. The motion to appoint Hinz passed on a unanimous roll-call vote listing John Hinz, Kathy McDonell, Sarah Tate, Roger Kistler and Stan Reiter as voting aye.
The board also voted to adopt amended Board rules for 2025 (motion by Roger Kistler, seconded by Sarah Tate). The board announced its next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 16, 2025, and that the application deadline for that meeting is Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025. The meeting adjourned at 3:58 p.m.
