Developers seek sewer capacity for 250-home Fairfield-area project; Municipal Authority to meet with DEP

Representatives of LGI, the developers of the David Sites property in Hamiltonban Township, presented to the Southwest Municipal Authority their need for sewer capacity to move forward with building 250 homes, council members reported at the June 23 meeting. The Municipal Authority arranged for the developers to meet with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to discuss the plan and advised the developers to consult Hamiltonban Township supervisors.
Council President Patricia Smith reported the outreach and said the Municipal Authority also expects grant monies to offset costs for the lift station and line repairs on North Miller Street. The council discussion recorded no timetable for approvals or DEP findings; the report was limited to the Municipal Authority’s next steps and referrals.
