Judge Eric Ramos informed the court there was a recommendation to appoint three directors to the Brush Country Groundwater Conservation District Board to represent agricultural, municipal and industrial/mining interests. The recommended appointees were Mauro Garcia Jr., Robert "Bob" Scott Jr., and William Paul Goranson. Commissioner Martin "Marty" Cabrera moved to approve the appointments; Commissioner Eduardo "Eddie" Garza seconded and the court approved the three appointments unanimously.
