The Jackson County Board of Supervisors approved the 2025 Certified Local Government annual report during its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting in Maquoketa. Laura Carstens of the Historic Preservation Commission presented the report and the board voted to accept it and authorize the chair’s signature.
Supervisor Nin Flagel moved to approve the report and Supervisor Mike Steines seconded. The record shows the motion carried on a 3-0 vote (Schwenker, Steines, Flagel voting aye). The Auditor’s office noted resolutions and ordinances are available to the public weekdays and on the county website.
