The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve rezoning case 202689Z on May 18, 2026, changing a 2.39‑acre unplatted tract (vicinity of South Osage Street and Freedom Drive) from Manufactured Home District to Residential District 2 to accommodate the next phase of the South Haven subdivision.
Staff said the request aligns with the city plan place type (neighborhood low) and that applying Residential District 2 standards will ensure homes built in the next phase meet development standards for setbacks and appearance. There were no public comments on the item. Commissioner Cindy moved for approval and the motion was seconded; the commission approved the request as presented.
