District approves water bottle filling stations at Hermosa View and Hermosa Valley

Board staff recommended and the board approved installation of water bottle filling stations in Hermosa View and Hermosa Valley multipurpose rooms. Miss Montalvo said the equipment will come through a rebatable SoCalREN program and allow students and district staff to access refill stations without crossing campus.
The Vista and Valley installations will be placed in NPR areas to serve after-school programs and campus traffic patterns; staff noted one existing filling station at Valley and explained the additional units will expand student access. The items were approved on the consent calendar by voice vote.
