Judge/Executive Chris Elleman requested court permission to begin accepting bids for a new ambulance; Magistrate Chris Butner moved to authorize solicitation of bids and Magistrate Wayne Day seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote recorded as "All in favor."
The court also approved a request to surplus a variety of furniture and small office items currently stored in the County Attorney/PVA office basement. Magistrate Chris Davis moved to surplus the listed inventory and Magistrate Bobby Preston seconded; the motion was approved.
Both actions clear the way for procurement steps (ambulance solicitation) and property disposition (surplus process) in county operations.
