Fairfield council approves minutes and three invoices, including $6,253 liability bill

Council then approved three bills. Councilor Phyllis Gilbert moved to pay Battersby Law $31.25 from the borough retainer, Boyer & Ritter $3,250 for the final billing of the 2025 audit, and PIRMA $6,253 for liability coverage; Councilor Pat Pileggi seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The meeting minutes record those dollar amounts as the official approvals.
The approvals were procedural and did not include extended discussion. The Council will reconvene on June 23, 2026, when additional agenda items may include further budget and finance matters.
