Butler County’s Health Department renewed an annual subscription for Nightingale Notes, an electronic health record and clinic management software, at a cost of $21,997 for the period April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. Health Department Director Jamie Downs summarized the department’s use of Nightingale Notes since 2013 and described interoperability with state systems.
Downs said Nightingale Notes connects to the Kansas Immunization Registry and other state data systems (DAISEY for Family Planning and MCH, EpiTrax for disease tracking and KHEL for lab results), allowing staff to enter immunizations with lot numbers and access real‑time immunization and lab information. The Board approved the invoice 5-0.
