Auditor-Treasurer Deb Vierhuf presented Commissioner Warrants #27852 through #27914 for approval; the board approved the warrants, which included revenue warrants of $189,470.93, Road & Bridge $6,682.68 and Ditch $955.00. Several vendor payments over $2,000 were specifically listed in the minutes, including Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force ($25,380.00) and Linc. Soil-Water Conservation District ($57,855.00).
The board also adopted Resolution No. 10-2026, establishing minimum salaries for elected county officials for terms beginning Jan. 5, 2027: County Auditor/Treasurer $24,000; County Recorder $24,000; County Sheriff $24,000; County Attorney $16,000. The resolution was adopted by unanimous vote and attested by Board Chair Steve Hauswedell and Auditor-Treasurer Deb Vierhuf.
