Environmental staff presented photographic evidence of a nuisance violation involving a large number of inoperable vehicles on property owned by John B. Peterson. The Board directed that, if the junk cars are not removed by June 1, 2026, staff should proceed with abatement.
Dustin Hauschild noted some progress has occurred in recent weeks but recommended waiting until the June 1 deadline before authorizing abatement. The motion to proceed with abatement if the vehicles remain after that date was made by Dean Nielsen, seconded by Joe Drietz, and approved by all commissioners.
