During the meeting the Commission approved several financial actions: it authorized $5,000 for the Philippi Summer Concert Series (the request was for $6,000), approved $1,000 for the Barbour County Chamber banquet hors d'oeuvres, and greenlit an IT services agreement with Global Science & Technology. Commissioners also approved a $6,445 Cardinal Cabling quote to install three additional exterior security cameras at the courthouse. Several items were tabled for further review, including a proposed 911 Tow Rotation policy, bids for Fairgrounds HVAC work, and funding requests for Lurch Fest and a youth-soccer AED purchase.
