Park manager moves, commission approves pavilion painting and roof replacements

"Total cost for all 4 is ... $4,276," Anderson said when describing the pavilion quote. He also described a contractor estimate of roughly $14,700 to replace shingled roofs across several small park structures, saying the contractor would replace any needed plywood and then install new metal roofing.
Anderson moved to approve the pavilion painting and the new roofs; another commissioner seconded the motion and the chair called for a voice vote. The chair announced the motion passed, permitting the painting and roof work to proceed.
The decision authorizes the park manager to coordinate scheduling with the selected contractor and to proceed with the work as quoted. Anderson said some optional work (painting the pavilion undersides) is available but optional and would increase costs if selected.
