Agent Tal Fillingham described the related design work: the alley will be rerouted to tie back into Portland, the lots are being replat to create an end-cap retail parcel, and the rezoning is intended to clean up zoning so the new building can proceed. "The alley will turn east and tie back into Portland," Tal said, and he explained adjustments to the right-of-way to allow trash and fire apparatus access. Commissioners asked about the site plan and confirmed a new building is expected; they moved to approve the rezoning and the motion carried.
