Sheriff seeks $65,070 for radios, board approves moving paging equipment to HITM Park tower

Lincoln County Sheriff Bob Bushman reported the county received roughly $130,000 in one-time safety aid and asked the board to allocate the remaining $65,070 toward squad radios and relocating paging equipment from the east river tower to the Hole in the Mountain (HITM) Park tower. "I would like the remaining $65,070.00 to go towards radio purchases and to moving the paging equipment off of the east river tower to the tower at HITM Park," Bushman said. The motion (by Commissioner Joe Drietz, seconded by Commissioner Corey Sik) passed unanimously.
Bushman also asked the board to designate 10 sheriff's office g-tech computers as surplus for use by other county offices or auction; that motion (by Commissioner Dean Nielsen, seconded by Commissioner Corey Sik) also passed unanimously.
