Staff asked the commission to set a public hearing (recommended April 14) on draft findings that would allow exemption from competitive bidding for the wastewater treatment plant improvements and the use of a construction manager/general contractor delivery method. The commission adopted Resolution 27-27 to set the public hearing for the recommended date.
Staff also requested authorization to purchase a replacement service truck for the water treatment plant; the vehicle was included in the current year's budget with a quoted price of $61,384.64. The commission voted to authorize the purchase from the nominated dealer per the budgeted amount.
