Public Works said one piece of equipment listed in early drafts (chest press) had been changed to an ADA‑friendly movement piece; the proposed package also includes an ADA‑accessible water station. The resolution also delegated authority to the city manager to sign the application and the motion carried.
Staff said additional installation details and any vendor constraints would be addressed following award, and thanked community members (including John Nygaard, named by staff) for identifying donated bark chips to improve playground surfacing.
