Director Caleb Kepner tells commission subdivision regulation rewrite will need more time
Summary
Director Caleb Kepner updated the Planning and Zoning Commission that staff are redlining and reformatting the subdivision regulations; he said the change in formatting makes producing clean 'redline' comparisons more difficult and a work-session will precede a public hearing and recommendation to council.

Director Caleb Kepner gave the monthly director's report and provided a status update on the subdivision regulation rewrite, saying staff are working through redlines and a format change that will make showing differences more challenging.
"It's gonna be a little bit more, difficult than we thought as far as having two red lines," Director Caleb Kepner said, adding staff are reorganizing the ordinance to make it simpler for neighbors, commissioners and developers. He said staff plan to bring several items to a future work session for clarity and then schedule a public hearing so the commission can make a recommendation to the city council.
