The board untabled case 24-000771 and Inspector Terry Dollar reported that the roof had been repaired, an alterations permit had been reinstated on Feb. 9, and substantial interior work was under way. Dollar told the board he had observed "substantial progress being made in the home at the time" and recommended the board take no action while the owner works through permits.
Owner Brooks Armstrong (who spoke on multiple cases) told the board that the house had been gutted to studs and that contractors were completing the plumbing, electrical and insulation work. Board members agreed to take no action without a roll call and allowed the permit process to continue.
