EbikeSense founder demonstrates simple "2-2-2" helmet-fit rule for e-bike riders
Summary
Megan Lam, founder of EbikeSense, demonstrated the "2-2-2" helmet-fit method for e-bike riders: 2 fingers from eyebrow to helmet, sliders under the earlobe, and 2-finger clearance under the chin; she prepared to perform a slip test to show why fit matters.

Megan Lam, who identified herself as the founder of EbikeSense, presented a short helmet-fit tutorial for e-bike riders and others who use helmets regularly. Lam introduced a simple mnemonic — "2 2 2" — to check fit: two fingers' width from the top of the eyebrow to the helmet, sliders that fall under the earlobe to form a "2" over the ear, and a two-finger gap under the chin for the strap. "These little sliders should fall right under the earlobe," Lam said while describing the ear fit.
Lam warned that helmets that appear buckled may still be loose: "Helmets are buckled, but if you just pull back, it'll just fall right off the head," she said, and she indicated an on-camera slip test would follow the demonstration. Her guidance focused on fit as the critical factor in keeping helmets functional during a crash or sudden movement.
