Niess outlined the package: SB2841/HB1960 (human-trafficking awareness training for transient accommodation workers); SB2842/HB1962 (an exemption from mediation in parentage proceedings where allegations of domestic abuse exist); SB2843/HB1959 (a five-year extension and a petty-misdemeanor provision for certain abusive household member statutes); SB2844/HB1963 (establishing a criminal offense for non-consensual disclosure of intimate images); and SB2845/HB1961 (prohibiting interference with access to healthcare facilities and creating a private right of action). The Vice-Chair noted the resolution affirms hospitals' obligations under federal emergency-treatment law for pregnant patients.
