Frontier Waste Solutions expresses interest in Benbrook waste and recycling contract

During the informal citizen-comments portion of the meeting, John Higdon introduced himself as a representative of Frontier Waste Solutions and outlined his company's municipal experience and local presence. Higdon said Frontier has conducted more than 70 transitions over eight years and listed nearby municipal clients; he asked to speak with city staff about Benbrook’s ongoing review of waste and recycling services and offered to provide transition support.
Mayor thanked Higdon for his introduction. No other members of the public spoke during informal comments. "We are very interested in having conversations about that partnership," Higdon said.
