Moody said the topic requires a “holistic analysis of our criminal justice system” and asked staff to bring back a 90‑minute briefing on April 28 with key partners and consultants to explore solutions beyond temporary bed purchases.
The court approved a motion to table the Kerr County interlocal to allow staff time to prepare that broader package and further analysis.
